I would like to know if this is an authentic Murano piece. It is a Marlion/Sailfish riding a wave. It is clear glass with burgundy along the fish's back (top to bottom). The piece measures approx. 13.5" high and the base is 5" x 4.5". It has the word "Murano" etched in cursive in the bottom of the base along with "B Pado Jau"

We received this as a housewarming gift maybe 18-20 years ago. I have no paperwork but I believe it was purchased in Italy.
