Hello, I have a glass lamp that might have been made in Murano, Italy. A family friend gave this lamp and 5 other glass lamps. My friend claims the lamp was made in Murano, and that it is from the 1940s or 1950s. Can you tell me 1) if the lamp is likely genuine Murano art glass? 2) If yes, who was the possible manufacturer? 3) If yes, how old do you believe the lamp is? 4) How much would the lamp be worth today? Thank you for any information you can provide.

The lamp comes with original brass fixtures (the brass fixtures are not included in the photos, as they were removed for cleaning). There is a very faint sticker or label on the very top of the lamp. There are blue dots that make up the label's border, but there are no words left as they have been worn off over time. The glass seems to have clear glass on the outside, and rose colored glass on this inside. There are very large controlled bubbles that get smaller from the bottom to the top of the lamp. There are also silver foil flecks sprinkled throughout the lamp. The glass has heavy vertical ribs. The lamp stands 15" (38 cm) high, and is 7 3/4" (19.7 cm) wide at its widest. The foot is 4 1/2" (11.5 cm) in diameter, while the top is 4 1/4 " (10.8 cm) in diameter. I have seen similar lamps online that claim the manufacturer to be Berovier & Toso, though this could be incorrect. The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or scratch marks.

OMG Team Answer:

For sure is original Murano glass, but it is also difficult for us to tell more about it.
it can be worth around 300-500euro.
