Handmade blown vase with Millefiori texture obtained thanks a wide use of characteristics reeds. The technique is quite common in Murano.
It is based on the use of reeds (canes) as said. They are collocated on a flat layer in the way the master has chosen to create his texture. They are putted in the oven to collapse a little. Using a little mass of hot glass the reeds are picked up and pasted all around this mass with a rolling gesture. At this time the master can starts to blow his vase and to model it.

What result is a colorfull vase perfect to decore during the spring time or to embellish table with white tablecloth or a light colored texture.

The artwork is blown and signed by the glass master A. Massimi Studio Etnico and it is one of a kind. Just one piece available!
